Scholarships

Our Family Grant and Scholarship Programs provide financial support to our members, their children, and grandchildren each year. Members attending an accredited college or university are eligible for scholarship assistance.

Insurance

Our members automatically receive a $50,000 life insurance benefit and a 2-year, $1,000 monthly long-term disability plan that covers both on-the-job and off-the-job injuries. For just $6 per pay period, members can extend coverage to their spouse for $25,000 and to all their children for $10,000.

Family Resource Center

Personal issues, planning for life events, or simply managing daily life can affect your work, health, and family. FPSE programs offer support, resources, and information for personal and work-life challenges. These FPSE-sponsored benefits are confidential and provided at no cost to our members and their dependents.

OUR FPSE

The California Federation of Public Service Employees is dedicated to promoting and advocating for public employees, quality public services, efficiency in government, and positive community engagement. The services our members provide often go unnoticed, unappreciated, and unrewarded. We seldom complain because we believe that public service is not just a job, but our calling.

Legislative Affairs

The California Federation of Public Service Employees actively monitors legislation that may impact our members and state funding affecting our agencies’ services and programs. We work closely with state legislators to ensure sufficient funding exists to support our members and the critical programs provided to the communities we serve. Read More.
